~ I love the pretty sights! the seasons are changing here and leaves turn to red, to gold, to brown. Seasons are so refreshing. It was oh so rainy the other day and just as I was about to get gloomy, the biggest rainbow was just round the corner. It was gia-mongous! stretched halfway across the skyline =) the night sky here is really pretty too, there arent high rise building to block it, arent neon lights to flood it and blind it. i stood atop castle hill! and gazed into the dark night sky, when it was just cold enough to see the mist of my breath but not so cold that the tip of my nose would get chilly. Yet the real warmth emanates from those around me. It's such a new beginning, full of work but im actually beginning to enjoy it

heya everyone, ive finally gotten to writing my thank you post to everyone who came to send me off and who couldn't but remembered i was leaving , am really sorry if i miss anyone out but im half jetlagged and all, so drop me and email and i'll make it up to you ;)

so here goes:
jan and sharon: i love you girls! was great to see you at the airport n sharon im so proud of you for not cryin.. jan yr letter was short and sweet but filled w so much lingerin emotion that i almost burst into tears while readin it =) ill be back in no time! for now im missing u girls to bits, missing havin people to talk to and shop with.. there are a mil shops to see but not really anyone to go w, since i feel bad making the guys wait for me

03s71: thanks so much for comin down, esp all those still trapped in army =) will miss being able to stone in such a big group and going for karaoke and all. jaime dear, thanks for droppin me the msg, was lovely to see it when i hit england

jingqi and weifang: =) glad to see how our friendship lasted all these years, am lookin forward to celebrating our 15th anniversary ( as jingqi put it so rightly) when i return, is a lovely reminder that some things last forever

huixiang: hey girl! sorry i didnt get to talk to you much at the airport, hope you liked the gift and had a lovely birthday.. i just got here and im already lookin forward to the big plans we've got for christmas break =p stay exactly the way you are babe and i cant wait for more chill out sessions with you and the pdc folks
