Predeparture course has been a blast =) i had a ton of fun bummin ard and chillin out with loads of ppl today and doin the silliest things.. college day was on sat.. proudest day of my parents' lives prob till this sat... i hope i remember the pledge *keeps fingers crossed
anyway ive been readin milan kundera's "immortality" lately and i came across the concept that people live by addition and subtraction. some people try to make themselves interesting by adding on to themselves.. clothes.. hobbies.. travel.. i think i spent most of the first part of my life on that but in recent months ive began to live by subtraction. taking away the distractions.. the things which used to define me.. like friends.. cca.. grades.. and coming back to my core.. the essence of my soul.. its quite a humbling process but nothing i wld ever want to miss out on...
